Spring Break is upon us here.  That means the kids are out of school.  Time has slowed down somewhat with the writing.  Ever since coming back from Mexico, it’s been pretty busy.  I have been doing my best to keep writing on schedule as best as I can.  

I’ve noticed on this book that I am writing more and more in one sitting that I have previously.  It’s not uncommon for me to drop 2500 words in one sitting.  It’s so easy to fall into the flow.  The stream, if you will.  The words just keep coming and the ideas are free flowing.  Every time I give myself a few moments to think about what I’m going to do, what I want to say, and where I want everyone to go, the ideas amaze me.  I am surprised by where these characters take me each and every chapter.  

I’m also getting better at writing around the chaos of family on vacations.  It’s a necessary demon.
