Life sometimes seems cyclical. The one thing that remains constant is that I neglect my blog and write a post about it. Three YEARS have passed since my last post. There hasn’t been much to write. I’ve been busy.
Cooper’s Kennel followed the natural course of bands and the music stopped, but I didn’t. I took the mantle on alone and set out on an acoustic journey, by myself. I played a lot of shows. Probably too many. The money was good, so it was hard to say no to anyone. I was shy at first. Then developed into a magnificent performer over time. It was quite a discovery.
It directly led to major changes in my life. I was out late at night nearly every night. Alcohol loosened me up. There were loud nights and quiet nights. There were nights that ended with weird adventures. There were nights that ended in the back seat of cars. There was fun. There was exhaustion. Most of all, there was music. Loads and loads of music.
When music is going on, there’s not much to write about. For now, I’m back. We’ll see how this goes.
